நுண்ணிய நூல்பல கற்பினும் மற்றுந்தன் 
உண்மை யறிவே மிகும்.
 உரை: 
கூரிய அறிவு வழங்கக் கூடிய நூல்களை ஒருவர் கற்றிருந்த போதிலும் அவரது இயற்கை அறிவே மேலோங்கி நிற்கும்.
Translation: 
In subtle learning manifold though versed man be, 
'The wisdom, truly his, will gain supremacy.
Explanation: 
Although (a man) may study the most polished treatises, the knowledge which fate has decreed to him will still prevail.
