வறுமைக்கொடுமையைப் பிறரிடம் இரந்து போக்கிக் கொள்ளலாம் என்று கருதும் கொடுமையைப் போல் வேறொரு கொடுமை இல்லை.

Nothing is harder than the hardness that will say, 
'The plague of penury by asking alms we'll drive away'.
