சினம் கொள்கிறவர்களுக்கு முகமலர்ச்சி மாத்திரமின்றி மனமகிழ்ச்சியும் மறைந்து போய் விடும்.
Translation: 
Wrath robs the face of smiles, the heart of joy, 
What other foe to man works such annoy?.
Explanation: 
Is there a greater enemy than anger, which kills both laughter and joy ?.
