இருள்தீர எண்ணிச் செயல்.
உரை:
ஒரு காரியத்தில் ஈ.டுபடுவதற்கு முன்பு, அதற்குத் தேவையான பொருள், ஏற்ற கருவி, காலம், மேற்கொள்ளப் போகும் செயல்முறை, உகந்த இடம் ஆகிய ஐந்தையும் குறையில்லாமல் பார்த்துக் கொள்ள வேண்டும்.
Translation:
Treasure and instrument and time and deed and place of act:
These five, till every doubt remove, think o'er with care exact.
Explanation:
Do an act after a due consideration of the (following) five, viz. money, means, time, execution and place.
