பழைமையான நண்பர்களின் உரிமையைப் பாராட்டுகிற சான்றோர்க்குரிய கடமைதான் உண்மையான நட்புக்கு அடையாளமாகும்.
Translation:
Familiar freedom friendship's very frame supplies; 
To be its savour sweet is duty of the wise.
